Tampines Campus Master Plan Announcement

Description: Details of the Tampines Campus masterplan was unveiled by Mr James Stirling at the "Public Announcement of the Campus Masterplan" held at Hyatt Regency on 27 November 1991. Temasek Business School freshmen orientation 2010

Description: Temasek Business School freshmen orientation was held on 15 April 2010 at the Temasek Convention Centre. Mr Daniel Yeow, Director, Temasek Business School addressed the freshmen, followed by performances from the Salvo Drums and Dance Ensemble and the singing of TP anthem by freshmen and staff. To bond the freshmen at school level, everyone including the Business School lecturers gathered at Temasek Polytechnic Sports Complex and with much creativity and teamwork, successfully formed the numeral "20" to commemorate TP's 20th anniversary.

Temasek Engineering School's TechGames workshops 2001

Description: Temasek Engineering School's TechGames workshops for secondary school students was held on 15 September 2001. The workshops were held in conjunction with Science.01, a month-long national event celebrating Science, Technology and Biomedicine in Singapore. Highlight of the workshop was the introduction of Sony Aibo, the popular robotic dog. Other workshops organised included an introduction to the Global Positioning System (GPS), a Solar Insect Design competition, an Intelligent Building Design module and Creative Physics.

Temasek Olympiad 2015 : Freshmen Orientation Finale

Description: The inaugural Temasek Olympiad 2015 was held at the Jalan Besar Stadium. Students from the six schools gathered on the final day of the Freshmen Orientation Camp (FOC) to compete against each other in activities such as telematch, games and dances. The School of Humanities and Social Sciences was the champion for this Olympiad.

Other highlights included in the annual event were a stunning fashion show, live performances and great buys at the bazaar and travel fair. Description: The Temasek Polytechnic Open House was held from 12 to 14 February 1998. About 400 students were recruited as I-Guides or Information Guides for the first time. The guides acted as walking "information booths", guiding visitors, providing information on the polytechnic and leading groups of students and teachers from their secondary schools to TP. A cybercafe for teachers was also provided for secondary school teachers that accompanied their students to the Open House. Beside course and career counsellings, visitors were also invited to link up with an overseas friend via satellite, design web pages and try pottery and caricature demos. Other highlights included in the annual event were a student fashion show and live performances.

Description: The Temasek Polytechnic Open House was held from 4 to 6 February 1999. The theme for the Open House was "Be Yourself, Be the Best and Be at TP.
