Description: Temasek Polytechnic (TP) will see its first intake of Medical Biotechnology students in April 2019. The diploma was launched to meet the healthcare industry's demand for an evolving role of medical technologists as well as emerging and future skills needed in this area. The new diploma, along with other sharings on emerging skills and career pathways for future medical technologists were discussed at the Laboratory Medicine Conference on Friday, 3 August 2018 at Temasek Polytechnic Auditorium 1.

Description: The Graduate Employment Survey (GES), jointly conducted by the five polytechnics in 2017, showed that polytechnic graduates continue to be in demand in the job market. The overall employment rate six months after graduation was at 87.3% (86.4% for fresh graduates, and 89.8% for post-NS graduates). Although there was a decline from 2016, employment rate remains healthy. The decline is partly due to year-on-year changes in labour market and economic conditions, and preferences of students upon graduation.

Description: Temasek Polytechnic (TP) in collaboration with industry partner Gnowbe, launched more than 60 mobile Micro-Learning Courses (MLCs) aimed at meeting the skills-upgrading demands of busy, working professionals. The launch was officiated by guest-of-honour, Ms Low Yen Ling, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Trade and Industry. To prepare for this launch, TP has developed bite-sized MLCs in subject areas such as Business, Engineering, IT, Applied Sciences and Life Skills, and each MLC comprises 10 to 20 lessons and every lesson could be completed within 15 minutes. Moreover, TP would offer every Singaporean and Permanent Resident one free MLC from a basket of 34 courses, to encourage their pursuit of lifelong learning anytime, anywhere starting from 5 April to 4 June 2018. Description: The graduating class of Temasek Polytechnic's School of Design showcased some four hundred innovative and meaningful projects from across fashion, architecture, film, product design and communication design disciplines. The Design Show was held from 9 - 12 March 2018. Design Show 2018 also saw the launch of the inaugural Sustainability Awards. The top three projects that addressed bigger issues of the world through their designs such as reducing poverty, resolving hunger and responsible consumption, would each receive a $1,000 prize.

Description: TP InfoTech Day 2018 is an annual showcase of innovative projects by the final year students of the Temasek Polytechnic School of Informatics & IT. This year’s theme was “Digital Innovation and Transformation – Start Small, Think Big” and the projects were divided into three sub-themes: Future of Tech & FinTech, Growth & Opportunities in AI and Analytics and Next-Gen Security Evolution. The event showcased 30 projects developed by graduating students, some of which were done in collaboration with industry partners and various government agencies. The project show took place on Tuesday, 20 March 2018 at the Polytechnic Foyer, and was opened to the public. A seminar with talks by IT professionals took place concurrently at Auditorium 2 of the polytechnic.

Press release. 20 Feb 2018. TP students create virtual classroom app for preschoolers

Description: TP students created a Virtual Classroom App for Preschoolers which provided a full curriculum of services such as interactive lessons through games where children can see 3D objects in front of them. Real-time multiplayer games encourage teamwork and promote social skill development, and a point reward system can be exchanged for pets for a quicker assimilation of the subject being taught. The app was one of the 25 final-year projects developed by the graduating students of TP's Business Information Technology (BIT) course. The public can viewed these projects on 21 February 2018 at Meeting Young Minds @ BIT Project Show held at Temasek Polytechnic Main Foyer and Auditorium.

Description: Temasek Polytechnic (TP) launched its cashless campus initiative in November 2017, with about 15,000 staff and students making e-payment transactions at its bi-annual charity fund-raising event, Campus Care Network (CCN) Day held on Friday, 17 November 2017. This CCN Day made history as TP collaborated with DBS Paylah! to enable more than 100 stalls to be supported with e-payment. Staff and students used the PayLah! app to scan the QR code at each stall and transferred the amount to the stall's e-wallet. On 3 November, TP launched its first cashless enabled canteen at the TP School of Design where all stalls had been equipped for e-payment with cards from NETS ATM, NETS Flashpay, OCBC PayAnyone, UOB Mighty as well as DBS Paylah! By the close of 2017, four other campus canteens, food courts and cafes were e-payment equipped

Description: In its continuing effort to promote lifelong learning, Temasek Polytechnic (TP) would offer its alumni over 100 courses as part of the SkillsFuture Series to support working adults with industry-relevant training, making it the first polytechnic to offer free training places to its alumni. This would take place from January 2018 and some 1,500 TP graduates would have an opportunity to benefit from one free SkillsFuture Series course. Temasek Polyrechnic co-leads the cybersecurity area under the SkillsFuture Series, and would progressively roll out more courses to support the training needs of working adults. These courses are tiered across three proficiency levels to cater to Singaporeans at different stages of learning -- basic, intermediate and advance.

Description: From a poly-wide student competition entitled "Light beyond illumination: the smart campus edition", resulting from a partnership between Temasek Polytechnic and Philips Lighting, two teams of students from Temasek Polytechnic's Diploma in Integrated Facility Management and the Diploma in Infocomm & Network Engineering emerged as winners with their projects entitled "MINESpace" and "Occupants' Comfort". The top two teams were rewarded with a trip to the Philips' headquarters in Amsterdam, and upon their return, were mentored by experts from Philips Lighting to further develop their ideas into reality. "MINESpace", a system that combined a mobile app with the smart lights installed in two blocks of student apartments at the polytechnic enabled the entire process of nightly roll calls, inventory checking and fault reporting to be automated -- a first for any boarding school or hostel in Singapore. The 2nd project "Occupants' Comfort" made use of smart lights (called Power Over Ethernet, or PoE) to enhance the visual and thermal comfort of a classroom. Description: Temasek Polytechnic (TP), which housed the only accredited Glycemic Index (GI) Research Unit in the region, has launched two new part-time courses on nutrition targeted at individuals who are keen to equip themselves with knowledge of basic nutrition and diabetes. Both courses are supported and subsidised by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). The two new courses on nutrition are "The nutrition therapy for the prevention and management of diabetes" and "The nutrition for optimum health". Both courses, run quarterly, are conducted by a team of experts from TP, led by Dr Kalpana Bhaskaran, who is Domain Lead of Applied Nutrition & Glycemic Index Research at TP's School of Applied Science. TP also collaborated with food manufacturing company, Faesol Pte. Ltd. to create a low GI multigrain drink - iLite GrainsPlus which is available in all NTUC FairPrice outlets.

Description: Temasek Polytechnic's Centre for Applied Gerontology, the Diploma in Gerontological Management Studies and the School of Humanities & Social Sciences organised an ageing symposium themed, "Towards successful ageing" on 22 August 2017. The symposium took a holistic approach covering the physical (exercise), cognitive (brain training), and socio-emotional (mindfulness) dimensions, through having a select panel of distinguished experts in their respective fields. The aim was to stimulate dialogue on the pressing concern for the likely increase in cognitive problems faced by our rapidly ageing population. The symposium also saw the launch of MindWorks, a brain training app that contained a set of six games designed for older adults that target memory, attention, logic, and arithmetic calculation, by TP's Principal & CEO, Mr Peter Lam and Prof. Ryuta Kawashima, Director of the Institute of Development, Aging and Cancer (IDAC), Tohoku University. Keynote speakers included Prof. Ryuta Kawashima and Prof. Linda Lam. Description: Temasek Polytechnic (TP) celebrated its seventh annual Global Community Day (GCD) on Friday, 7 July 2017 at TP's Glocal Connect Village. GCD is a celebration of diversity with cross-cultural performances and showcases from countries around the world. The 7th GCD was a multi-sensory extravaganza of food and cultural workshops, as well as vibrant showcases and performances, in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Artists from the Mouth & Foot Painting Artists (MFPA) such as Christina Lau and Tan Kok Leong participated in the celebrations where they shared their inspiring life stories. Also on display at The Art Gallery @ TP's Glocal Connect Village was "We draw ASEAN together", an exhibition of sketches featuring life in Southeast Asian cities, by artists and hobbyists from Urban Sketchers Singapore (USk), which was founded in 2009 by TP's Artist-in-Residence, Madam Tia Boon Sim. Dr Janil Puthucheary, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Education & Ministry of Communications and Information was the guest-of-honour. Description: Minister for Education (Higher Education & Skills) and Second Minister for Defence Mr Ong Ye Kung witnessed the signing of Collaboration Agreements between the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and Temasek Polytechnic (TP), and between Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and Temasek Polytechnic (TP) to offer relevant skills-based undergraduate modules to polytechnic graduates embarking on the SkillsFuture Earn ad Learn Programme (ELP). The Joint-ELP Collaboration Agreements were signed by Professor Tan Thiam Soon, President, SIT, Professor Cheong Hee Kiat, President, SUSS and Mr Peter Lam, Principal & CEO, TP. The signing was also witnessed by Mr Ng Cher Pong, Chief Executive of SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). Under the Agreements, ELP participants would be able to take modules alongside existing undergraduates from the relevant degree programmes offered by both universities. Upon completion of the ELP, they could apply to enrol in the corresponding degree programmes at SUSS or SIT, with due credit recognition given.

Press release. 27 Mar. 2017. Lao PDR public health officials train in health and nutrition practices through partnership with Temasek Foundation International and Temasek Polytechnic

Description: Some 100 public officials from schools, hospitals and health centres across Lao PDR went through a public healthcare nutrition intervention programme in Lao PDR supported by Temasek Foundation International and Temasek Polytechnic. The two-year programme, which started in 2015, was funded by Temasek Foundation International through a grant of S$223,430. These participants, in turn, used their learning to train more than 200 other health educators and school teachers on ways to design healthier and more nutritious meals in hospitals and schools. To commemorate the success of the programme, a closing ceremony was held on 23 March 2017 in Singapore, officiated by His Excellency, Associate Professor Dr Phouthone Muongpak, Vice Minister of Health, Lao PDR. Description: TP InfoTech Day 2017 was held on Wednesday, 8 March 2017 at Main Foyer, Temasek Polytechnic. One of the projects showcased was ScamDefender, a one-stop portal for all things scam-related. The purpose of this project was to provide the public with early detection and warning against potential scams. A few other innovations on show included: FinTech ecosystem project - the Qlikview dashboard showcased key FinTech areas such as Blockchain, InsurTech and Payments & Remittance in a visually appealing manner; Clairvoyance -- a malware hunting solution with the investigation process and time for hunting down the malware greatly shortened; and Smart Distribution Board which used Internet of Things and cloud-based technologies to help users better manage energy usage and keep utility bills down.

Description: More than 450 projects across fashion, architecture, film, product design and communication design disciplines were showcased from the graduating class of Temasek Polytechnic's School of Design. The Design Show was held at the School of Design on Friday, 3 March 2017. Among the 450 projects showcased was a bus feature for commuters to secure their strollers. With this product created by Jordan Ang, Product & Industrial Design student, parents would be able to push the stroller and hook it into the pram seat feature inside the bus. Also showcased were the heart wrenching drama "Seeing voices" by Charmaine Cheong, a student from the Digital Film & Television diploma course, who shared her inspiring story of caring for her mother with mental illness for the last 15 years; and "Luxury hostel experience for tourists" to overcome the cultural and language barriers of short-term-staying guests, by Ong Yue Li, Interior Architecture & Design student.

Description: Temasek Polytechnic's Meeting Young Minds @ BIT Project Show was held on Wednesday, 22 February 2017. Some 30 final-year projects developed by the graduating students of TP's Business Information Technology (BIT) course were on show to the public. One of the projects showcased was FALL-D -- a fall-detecting monitoring system that used a combination of motion detection, motion acceleration and voice recognition devices to trigger alerts to the caregiver via mobile application, if an emergency was suspected. Other student projects included the following: Enabling healthier meal choices from food photos and Facilities incident report system (FIRS) -- discussions were initiated with TP's Estates and Facilities Management Department to test-bed the system within campus. Also present were representatives from industry partners like FOMO Pay Private Ltd and Onelyst. Co-founder and CEO of Onelyst, Hizam Ismail, is a BIT alumnus and a graduate from TP in 2010.

Press release. 01 Feb. 2017. Local polytechnics and Singapore Fintech Association sign MOU to intensify industry collaboration

Description: The five local polytechnics, namely Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic, and Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to deepen collaboration between educators and the FinTech industry. This MOU supported the PolyFinTech 100 initiative, launched in October 2016 to develop a strong talent pool trained in financial technology to aid Singapore in becoming a smart financial centre. The MOU underscored SFA's commitment to enhance the FinTech eco-system through active and continuous engagement of polytechnic students. Plans for 2017 included the innovation lab crawls, internships and workshops. Description: The Graduate Employment Survey, jointly conducted by the five polytechnics in 2016, showed that the overall employment rate increased for both fresh graduates and post-National Service (NS) graduates compared to 2015. The overall employment rate in 2016 was 90.6% for fresh graduates, and 95.4% for post-NS graduates. Among the full-time permanently employed respondents, both fresh graduates and post-NS graduates from the Health Sciences category earned the highest median gross monthly salary compared to their peers.

Press release. 05 Jan. 2017. TP students develop a system that lights up road dividers during heavy downpour to help motorists

Description: Temasek Polytechnic's Engineering Project Show 2017 was held on Friday, 6 January 2017 at its Multi-Purpose Hall. One of the projects showcased was a system that lighted up the road divider when it rained, thus allowing motorists to see better in stormy, thundery conditions. Also among the 56 final-year projects were ideas targeted at the elderly which won awards at the "Cool ideas for better HDB living" competition. Examples of such project were the "Elderly friendly mop & pail", "Elderly safe trolley" and "Smart active wheelchair". Other highlights of the Engineering Project Show were an energy-saving invention which cooled only the bed of a person who was sleeping, rather than the entire room, and a remote controlled drone which was being developed to carry, fly and drop a life buoy to a drowning person at sea.

Description: Temasek Polytechnic (TP) and NTUC Foodfare signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the "War on diabetes" to develop healthier meal options that would benefit the masses through NTUC Social Enterprises' reach of dining, supermarket, eldercare and early childhood education chains. A series of healthier choice, low Glycemic Index (GI) halal meals, created by TP's School of Applied Science were made available at NTUC Foodfare's newly opened dining space, Kitchen Loft. TP also created six varieties of low GI ready-to-eat frozen pizzas that were included in NTUC FairPrice's house brand range of products. The new product range had been tested at the region's only accredited GI Research Unit housed at TP and was expected to be made available at NTUC FairPrice stores from April 2017. Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Education (Higher Education and Skills) attended the unveiling of the Low GI meals, and also witnessed the MOU signing between TP and NTUC Foodfare. Description: Temasek Polytechnic (TP) and DDB Worldwide signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 28 October 2016 to set up a satellite office of Equator to groom the next generation of creative technologists in Singapore. Equator is DDB Worldwide's first-ever global centre of excellence for technology and innovation to pioneer digital transformation marketing solutions. A diverse pool of students from the School of Informatics & IT, School of Design, School of Engineering and School of Business would serve their internships at the on-campus agency. Ms Low Yen Ling, Parliamentary Secretary for Ministry of Education & Ministry of Trade and Industry, witnessed the signing of the MOU by Mr Peter Lam, Principal & CEO, Temasek Polytechnic and David Tang, CEO of DDB Asia. The first project co-created with TP student was a community project called the Personal Response for Emergency Situations (P.R.E.S.) -- a mobile application that allows users to send one-touch distress signals to their loved ones and relevant authorities, alerting them to possible emergencies such as a terrorist attack or a disaster.

Description: Temasek Polytechnic (TP) launched Singapore's first Centre of Innovation for Complementary Health Products (COI CHP) in June 2016. Funded by SPRING Singapore, it was a one-stop service centre for CHP related enterprises. The key capability areas of the COI CHP included chemical and biological testing, glycemic index analysis as well as safety and efficacy studies. These were some of the areas that were showcased at TP's annual Applied Science Show held on Wednesday, 5 October 2016. A two-day International Conference in Analytical Science followed the Applied Science Show. Some of the related projects serviced by the COI CHP on show included: Herbal ingredient screening of GNC's liver protector for quality control and Rapid testing to identify antioxidant compounds in food, herbs and CHP. The opening of the show also included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between TP and its industry partner Eu Yan Sang Singapore. Description: Temasek Polytechnic (TP) students from the School of Design together with People's Association, DBS Bank and Bloomberg competed in a "live" installation showcase of innovative, purposeful and sustainable solutions to benefit the community. Called the Collaborative Design Challenge @ ARCHIFEST 2016, the show was held on Friday, 30 September 2016, between 12 noon-1.30pm at Pavilion@Raffles Place Park, Raffles Place. Students from TP's Diploma in Interior Architecture & Design have over the past four weeks, formed teams with end users, designers and manufacturers to identify a need or problem, then design and build a functional installation that added value to people's lives using only recycled materials. Among the challenge projects showcased were: "Giving" tree -- made from recycled material, the tree could be easily replicated and set up in community centres where members of the public could pen down their gift of kindness ; Trolley to help the elderly cardboard collectors; DIY solution to tackle discomfort in the workplace. The challenge concluded with a 30-minute assemblage of the pre-fabricated design elements on site at ARCHIFEST 2016.

Description: Temasek Polytechnic (TP) collaborated with Philips Lighting to launch the first connected lighting test bed on campus. The collaboration empowered TP students, under the guidance of lecturers and Philips' engineers, to create connected lighting solutions for the campus, and develop innovative ideas in the application of smart lighting. The collaboration kicked off with a competition for TP students titled, "Light beyond illumination: the smart campus edition". The competition ran from 15 August to 31 October 2016, and the brief was for students to innovate smart lighting applications to drive greater energy efficiencies and to improve the campus learning experience. Philips Lighting invested S$100,000 to enable the top two winning ideas to be implemented on a test bed on campus. Description: Tourism Innovation Competition (TIC) 2016 was organised by Temasek Polytechnic (TP) School of Business (Hospitality & Tourism Management, and Leisure & Event Management divisions) and supported by the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Singapore Chapter. Description: Temasek Polytechnic Design Show 2016 was held from 31 March to 2 April at the Temasek Polytechnic Auditorium Foyer. A total of 450 innovative, purposeful ideas were showcased from the graduating class of the School of Design. Among them were "Fashion for wheel-chaired women" by Apparel Design & Merchandising students, Dorcas Lum and Denise Gow who created Orzora - a fashion and store concept that caters to wheelchair-bound women; "Preserving the HDB kampong spirit" which germinated from the idea of encouraging upcycling - to reuse (discarded objects or material) in such a way as to create a product of higher quality or value than the original, within the community, by Interior Architecture & Design student Xing Li; and 'The Puff Pal for asthmatic children" - an asthma inhaler that is ergonomically designed for children by Product & Industrial Design students Nur Syahidah Bte Roslan and Tay Jing Ying.

Description: More than 70 first-year students from Temasek Polytechnic (TP) School of Design Digital Film & Television course had the invaluable opportunity of working alongside Emeritus Senior Minister (ESM), Mr Goh Chok Tong, to produce a series of short films in celebration of 40 years of Marine Parade memories. The result, produced in a mere four months, was a collection of stories that brought to life the colourful memories of the people who grew up in Marine Parade - the MParaders. These stories of love, pain, friendship, camaraderie, second-chances and perseverance also showcased the many different aspects of Singapore's history, beautiful architecture, multi-ethnicity and kampong spirit, which would resonate with many Singaporeans. An under-the-stars picnic premiere of "Our stories, our home: 40 years of Marine Parade" was held on Saturday, 12 March 2016 at 7.45pm at Block 50A Marine Terrace with Emeritus Senior Minister (ESM) Goh Chok Tong as the guest-of-honour. Prizes were awarded for best film, direction, cinematography, script and editing. Generous funding for the partnership came from the Lee Foundation and Marine Parade CCC.

Description: Temasek Polytechnic's "Meeting Young Minds @ BIT Project Show" was held on Wednesday, 24 February 2016 at Temasek Polytechnic Main Foyer and Auditorium 2. One of the 30 final year projects showcased was the creation of an eParking mobile application and other innovative technical solutions to boost productivity and ease the workload of parking enforcement officers with the use of QR-code scanning. The simple-to-use Android application allowed drivers and motorists to select the location, period of time and load funds to fulfill a parking session. Some of the other final year projects showcased included "Tri-factor authentication mechanism to track event attendance" and "On-the-go volunteering". Industry partners like honestbee.com and SAFESURE Engineering also took part in the discussion on driving innovations with technology. Mr Aloysius Lau, panelist and MD of SAFESURE was a BIT alumnus.

Description: To meet the rapid expansion of the early childhood education sector and increased demand for trained preschool teachers in Singapore, Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) and Temasek Polytechnic (TP) increased the intake places for their full-time early childhood education diploma courses, from a combined total of 380 to 675 places, in the new Academic Year starting April 2016. This represented a 77 per cent increase in total intake places. Starting from January 2016, the Diploma in Early Childhood Studies (ECS) students at Temasek Polytechnic (TP) could enhance their learning experience with TP's newly-enhanced laboratory preschool called PLAY (Preshool Learning Academy). PLAY was set up in January 2011 to provide TP's ECS diploma students with opportunities for demonstration, observation, modelling, and hands-on practice.

Description: Mrs Josephine Teo, Senior Minister of State, Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Transport, officially opened the Temasek Aviation Academy (TAA) on 8 Jan 2016. The 6,000 sqm facility comprises aircraft technical training workshops, an aircraft-access training hangar with a Hawker Siddeley 700A business jet, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) development facilities, a closed-looped wind tunnel, full motion flight simulators, and a 3D modeling and simulation studio, bringing together all of TP's Aviation and Aerospace Engineering capabilities into an integrated training outfit. Mrs Teo presented certificates to 14 graduates of the 1st and 2nd runs of the SkillsFuture Earn and Learn Programme for the Aerospace Sector during the launch of TAA.

Description: The Ministry of Health in Lao PDR, Temasek Polytechnic and Temasek Foundation teamed up to initiate a three-year capacity building training programme on public healthcare and nutrition intervention. Trainers from Temasek Polytechnic shared their knowledge in nutrition intervention with 100 public health and nutrition officials from schools, hospitals and health centres across Lao PDR. The opening ceremony of the Public Healthcare and Nutrition Intervention Programme was held on 14 Dec 2015 in Vientiane, Lao PDR, officiated by H.E Prof Eksavang Vongvichit, Minister of Health, Lao PDR. Also present were Mr Dominic Goh, Singapore Ambassador to Lao PDR, Mr Benedict Cheong, Chief Executive Officer, Temasek Foundation, and Dr Lee Chee Wee, Director, School of Applied Science, Temasek Polytechnic. Training was conducted both in Singapore and Lao PDR. It commenced in Vientiane from 14 to 18 December 2015, followed by two-week training in Singapore in March 2016.

Description: Temasek Polytechnic, in collaboration with A*STAR's Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), Microsoft and MediaTek, organised an "Internet of Things (IoT) Hackathon" to focus on preparing future working adults in the growth area of IoT. The Hackathon took place at Temasek Polytechnic's School of Informatics & IT on 26 & 27 November 2015. Approximately 50 TP students participated in this event to develop prototype IoT solutions within two days, using the Microsoft Azure IoT Open Source Platform, MediaTek LinkIt One platform, together with Engineering System expertise provided by I2R. TP's 4th musical was held from 4-7 November 2015 at Auditorium 1, Temasek Polytechnic. Sonny Lim was the artistic director and the show was co-produced with local playwright, director and actress Aidli Mosbit. Among the talented cast was 2014 Project Superstar female category winner, Abigail Yeo, who took on the lead role of Xena.

Description: Temasek Polytechnic played host to more than 900 secondary school students at the 12th annual Engineering & Science Discovery event on Wednesday, 14 October, 2015, at the Temasek Convention Centre. Jointly organised by Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic, the annual event for secondary school students was designed to introduce them to engineering in a simple, engaging way. On display was an exhibit by Singapore Science Centre, some interactive science models developed by the polytechnics and a video presentation by IN.Genius on space exploration attempts to put a Singaporean into space that year. Mr Seto Lok Yin, Chairman, Steering Committee for Learning Engineering at Polytechnics (LEAP) delivered the welcome address. Two guest speakers delivered their keynote addresses, "Innovation is a journey - not an idea" by Mr. Lim Seng, Founder, IN.Genius and "Fascinating physics in engineering" by Associate Professor Dr. Janchai Yingprayroon, Deputy Director for Academic Services and Research, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Bangkok. To bring home the fun in Engineering, Mr Tan Jui Kuan, performed a magic show "Discovering engineering with magic!".
