Description: Temasek Polytechnic (TP) Open House 2010 was held on 7 to 9 January 2010. The annual open house was held to enable secondary school students to make an informed choice regarding their educational path after they have completed their studies. Description: More than 250 invited O level school leavers and their parents attended TP's first ever Scholarship Showcase, held on the last day of the Open House on 7 January 2012. Mr Edmond Khoo, Deputy Principal kicked off the Showcase with an inspiring address in which he highlighted how TP invested in its outstanding students. The highlight of the event was a tea session which allowed the potential scholars and their parents to interact with senior staff members and students to get first-hand information on what TP has to offer. Also present were TP's alumni scholars who shared on their experiences as recipients of TP's scholarships.

Temasek Polytechnic facade and main entrance

Description: As part of a campus redevelopment project, construction works on the Temasek Polytechnic main entrance which took place from February 2012 was completed by early January 2013. The new entrance provided better visibility and eased congestion along the slip road during peak hours. New covered linkway extends from the bus stop, going up the ramp, and leading to the Plaza provide improved protection from the heat and rain. A water-feature wall and an air-conditioned foyer extension were also added. The TP facade was given a fresh coat of white with accent walls in different colours to create visual interest.

Temasek Polytechnic football mania camp 2006

Description: A two-day, one night football mania camp was organised on 30 June to 1 July 2006 by Temasek Polytechnic Outreach Centre and Student & Alumni Affairs Department. Besides taking part in a 7-a-side soccer tournament, the 200 students from 11 secondary schools were treated to soccer clinic sessions as well as a live screening of the World Cup quarter final matches between Germany and Argentina, Italy and Ukraine. The boys from Queensway Secondary School were the champions of the tournament while Shu Qun Secondary and Bowen Secondary settled for second and third place respectively. Ms Collette Wong from ESPN's Sports Centre presented the prizes to the winners. In the evening, more than 1000 staff and students congregated at the Temasek Convention Centre (TCC) to watch performances by various arts groups from the Temasek Arts Centre such as the fast pace performance by TPs Salvo Drums while Bass Fish, one of TP's very own bands from Music Vox performed a total of 5 songs. The highlight of the evening was catching the two scheduled World Cup matches on the projection screen of the TCC.

Temasek Regatta 2006

Description: Temasek Regatta 2006 kicked off on April 21, 2006 with secondary school students, TP students, and staff gathering at the Bedok Reservoir for a battle on the water. The regatta was the grand finale of the Temasek Polytechnic freshmen orientation 2006. For the second year running, numerous secondary schools were invited to compete against one another in the dragon boat competition as part of TP's outreach programme. After an intense fight, CHIJ Katong Convent finished first in the Women's Finals, while Mayflower and Evergreen Secondary Schools came in second and third, respectively. In the Men's Finals, Victoria School emerged champion, while Bukit Panjang and Chung Cheng High (Yishun) finished runners-up and second runners-up, respectively. In the afternoon, staff and students, led by Principal & CEO Mr Boo Kheng Hua, took to the water to compete in the inter-school dragon boat races and friendship races.

Description: The grand finale of the Temasek Polytechnic freshmen orientation 2012 was the regatta held at the Bedok Reservoir. Comprising seven official races, which included the freshmen, juniors/seniors, alumni and staff categories, the regatta is a must-attend for everyone who is part of the TP family. Senior management staff, including Principal & CEO Mr Boo Kheng Hua, were present to cheer on all teams participating in the dragon boat races. The overall championship went to the School of Business, the School of Applied Science won the best cheer team award, and the School of Design won the best-spirited school award.
