The Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) 1997 was conducted at the Temasek Polytechnic Sports Hall from 1 to 5 March 1997. The objective of the JAE was to allow students who sat for their O-level exams to apply for admission to courses in the polytechnics of their choice. Course advisors were available on campus to advise students about the various courses and their eligibility before making their final decision.
