Description: Temasek Polytechnic's "Meeting Young Minds @ BIT Project Show" was held on Wednesday, 24 February 2016 at Temasek Polytechnic Main Foyer and Auditorium 2. One of the 30 final year projects showcased was the creation of an eParking mobile application and other innovative technical solutions to boost productivity and ease the workload of parking enforcement officers with the use of QR-code scanning. The simple-to-use Android application allowed drivers and motorists to select the location, period of time and load funds to fulfill a parking session. Some of the other final year projects showcased included "Tri-factor authentication mechanism to track event attendance" and "On-the-go volunteering". Industry partners like honestbee.com and SAFESURE Engineering also took part in the discussion on driving innovations with technology.
