Temasek Polytechnic Design Show 2016 was held from 31 March to 2 April at the Temasek Polytechnic Auditorium Foyer. A total of 450 innovative, purposeful ideas were showcased from the graduating class of the School of Design. Among them were "Fashion for wheel-chaired women" by Apparel Design & Merchandising students, Dorcas Lum and Denise Gow who created Orzora - a fashion and store concept that caters to wheelchair-bound women; "Preserving the HDB kampong spirit" which germinated from the idea of encouraging upcycling - to reuse (discarded objects or material) in such a way as to create a product of higher quality or value than the original, within the community, by Interior Architecture & Design student Xing Li; and 'The Puff Pal for asthmatic children" - an asthma inhaler that is ergonomically designed for children by Product & Industrial Design students Nur Syahidah Bte Roslan and Tay Jing Ying.
