Professor Tommy Koh, Ambassador-at-Large officiated at the launch of Temasek Polytechnic's commemorative recipe book for the community on Tuesday, 13 October 2015 at the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall (Little Paradise Hall). The recipe book titled "Singapore hawker classics unveiled: decoding 25 favourite dishes!" was developed by staff and students from TP's Baking & Culinary Science (BCS) diploma course and produced in celebration of SG50. From mains to desserts, it is a delectable showcase of the best that each ethnic and cultural group in Singapore has to offer such as satay, nonya kaya and chicken rice. Dr Lee Chee Wee, Director, School of Applied Science, Temasek Polytechnic gave the welcome address, while Professor Tommy Koh, Ambassador-at-large delivered the opening address at the launch.
