Press release. 25 Nov. 2014. Temasek Polytechnic announces plans to develop Singapore's first smart campus platform

Description: Inspired by the initiative to establish Singapore as the world's first Smart Nation, Temasek Polytechnic (TP) set up a Smart Campus Platform that leveraged on a comprehensive and robust IT infrastructure and innovative technologies to make better decisions and improve the experience of studying and working at the Polytechnic. TP collaborated with Cisco Systems, EMC, Johnson Controls (S) Pte Ltd, NCS/SingTel and SAS Singapore on the Smart Campus Platform project. It also explored partnerships with companies such as NEC Asia Pacific and ST Electronics (Info-CommSystems) to trial smart campus solutions.
