Description

The Tourism Innovation Competition (TIC) was held from 10 -17 June 2014. Some 29 teams of students from 13 secondary schools and the ITE presented their creative proposals reinforcing and reinventing sustainable approaches to hospitality operations, specifically in the hotel sector. The theme for the competition was "Sustainability and the hotel sector" and the winners were announced on Tuesday, 17 June, 2014 at Auditorium 1, Temasek Polytechnic. TIC is an annual competition which started in 2010. It was organised by Temasek Polytechnic's School of Business (Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management, and Diploma in Leisure & Resort Management) and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board.
