On 21 December 2012, Temasek Polytechnic (TP) and Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for students from TP to embark on a Structured Internship with Major Projects Programme with SGBC and its member companies. This partnership enabled students from the Diploma in Green Building and Sustainability (GBS) and Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) gained exposure to green building initiatives and developments and promoted a mindset of green building and environmental sustainability amongst the future professionals for the industry. Mrs Lay-Tan Siok Lie, TP's Deputy Principal and Mr Tai Lee Siang, President of Singapore Green Building Council shared their comments on the collaboration.
