Singapore Mercantile Exchange (SMX), the first pan-Asian multi-product commodity and currency derivatives exchange signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 17 Dec 2012 with Temasek Polytechnic (TP). This collaboration marked the start of significant collaborations between the two institutions to build capabilities in the area of commodity and currency derivatives trading and processing. The MOU was signed by Mr. V Hariharan, CEO, Singapore Mercantile Exchange and Mrs Lee-Lim Sok Keow, Deputy Principal and Director, School of Informatics & IT, Temasek Polytechnic.
