Description
The 15th Polytechnic Student Research Programme (PSRP) award presentation ceremony was held on Thursday, 8 March 2012 at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. A total of 80 final-year PSRP projects were undertaken by the five polytechnics and the team with the best PSRP project from each polytechnic received a cash award at the ceremony. Prof Jackie Y. Ying, the Executive Director at A*STAR Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology was the guest-of-honour. The winning projects from Temasek Polytechic were "Isolation of circulating tumour cells using a novel microsieve cartridge" and "Realising Internet of things (IoT) through service oriented dynamic sensor network". Mr Chia Mia Chiang, Principal, Ngee Ann Polytechnic gave the welcome address.
