The Graduate Employment Survey, jointly conducted by the five polytechnics in 2012, revealed that polytechnic graduates enjoyed an increase in starting salaries. This increase applied to both fresh graduates and post-National Service (NS) graduates. The higher starting salaries of graduates attested to the strong value of a polytechnic education, and showed how employers continued to appreciate skilled polytechnic graduates.The annual Graduate Employment Survey was jointly conducted by Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic to ascertain the employment status of polytechnic graduates.
