On July 1, 1998, Temasek Polytechnic organized its inaugural SAF Day Rededication ceremony, and was the first educational institution to host such an event. During these ceremonies, National Servicemen reaffirm their commitment to Singapore and the SAF, pledging their loyalty and dedication.
