Description: The School of Design held a separate Open House cum exhibition, entitled "Viewpoint" at the Design Centre on 18 to 26 February 1994. About 7,500 visitors learnt about the various courses available, the unique upgrading system and the career opportunities for design graduates. Application forms for the Design courses were also issued. The exhibiton showcased projects by students from Visual Communication, Interior Architecture & Design and Product Design.

Description: Temasek Polytechnic (TP) Open House 2016 was held between January 7 to 9. The annual event was held to enable secondary school students to make an informed choice regarding their educational path after they have completed their studies. The secondary school students were given the opportunity to meet up with the lecturers from the respective schools, have a chat with them on the diploma courses offered, tour the scenic campus and meet up with Temasek Polytechnic students to find out more about the outstanding facilities, the different options open to them and life on campus. In 2016, TP's Auditorium Foyer served as the one-stop destination for visitors to find out more about its 51 diploma courses, and also marked the start point for all walking and bus tours. The tagline for the 2016 Open House was "Best Day Ever".

Beside course and career counsellings, visitors were also invited to tour the brand new campus, surfed the internet and World Wide Web and browsed through student project exhibits. Other highlights included in the annual event were a stunning fashion show, live performances and great buys at the bazaar and travel fair. Description: The Temasek Polytechnic Open House was held from 12 to 14 February 1998. About 400 students were recruited as I-Guides or Information Guides for the first time. The guides acted as walking "information booths", guiding visitors, providing information on the polytechnic and leading groups of students and teachers from their secondary schools to TP. A cybercafe for teachers was also provided for secondary school teachers that accompanied their students to the Open House. Beside course and career counsellings, visitors were also invited to link up with an overseas friend via satellite, design web pages and try pottery and caricature demos. Other highlights included in the annual event were a student fashion show and live performances.

Description: The Temasek Polytechnic Open House was held from 4 to 6 February 1999. The theme for the Open House was "Be Yourself, Be the Best and Be at TP. Students were recruited as I-Guides to guide and provide information on the polytechnic to visitors. Beside course and career counselling, celebrities such as Kate Reyes from Perfect 10 and TCS actress Evelyn Tan, were invited to entertain the visitors.
