A total of 5,645 students received their diplomas and post-diploma qualifications from TP's full-time and part-time courses. Day 3 session 6 graduation ceremony was held on Monday, 7 May 2018 at 9.30am at the Temasek Convention Centre. Recipients for the Skills Mastery Awards and Polytechnic-Level Awards were also presented their medals during the session. Day 1: Session 1 - Graduands from the School of Design: Diploma in Apparel Design & Merchandising; Diploma in Digital Film & Television; Diploma in Environment Design; Diploma in Interior Architecture & Design and Diploma in Product & Industrial Design.

Description: The Graduate Employment Survey (GES), jointly conducted by the five polytechnics, showed that polytechnic graduates continue to be sought after by employers and commanded higher salaries in 2018 than in 2017. Among respondents who entered the labour force, the overall employment rate six months after graduation was 89.5%, 2.2 percentage points higher than in 2017. The proportion who were unemployed and still looking for a job or in involuntary part-time/temporary employment decreased by 4.4 percentage points.

Description: Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, Minister of State for National Development and Manpower officiated the first session of Temasek Polytechnic's 22nd Graduation Ceremony on Monday, 21 May 2012 at 9.00am at the Temasek Convention Centre. For the 2012 Graduation Ceremony, the first cohort of graduands from the diplomas in Pharmaceutical Science, Gerontological Management Studies, Clean Energy, Aerospace Electronics and Aerospace Engineering received their diplomas. For the first time, TP presented two new top awards -- the Lee Kong Chian Award and the Lee Kong Chian Award for All-Round Excellence.

For the first time, two new top awards were presented at the Polytehcnic's graduation ceremony: the Lee Kong Chian Award which is given to top non-Science and Technology graduates from the School of Business, School of Design and School of Humanities & Social Sciences; and the Lee Kong Chian Award for All-Round Excellence which gives commendation and recognition to students who excel in both their studies and co-curricular activities. The recipients of the awards were: Lee Kuan Yew Award - Joy Sim Fenghua, Goi Jia Jian, Anabel Ng Shu Ming; Tay Eng Soon Gold Medal - Loo Jian Han; Lee Kong Chian Award - Van Gia Tuan, Li Jiaoxuan, Bryan Tam Wei Hoe; CapitaLand Award for All-Round Excellence - Lew Jia Yun; Lee Kong Chian Award for All-Round Excellence - Andria Tan Yi Ying, Tan Yue Ting. The Ngee Ann Kongsi Most Outstanding Overcomer award was given to Chia Hong Sen who was born blind and was the 1st graduate with total visual impairment.

Description: In line with the Government's heightened safe distancing measures, the polytechnics and ITE have made the difficult decision to cancel the graduation ceremonies which were scheduled to take place in May and July 2020. The cancellation affected some 26,000 graduands from the five polytechnics and 6,500 graduands from ITE. Institutions will make arrangements for diplomas/certificates and transcripts to be delivered to the graduands.

Description: Sumitomo Life Insurance (Sumitomo Life) and Temasek Polytechnic (TP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 24 March 2021 to launch a digital talent accelerator programme dedicated to persons with disabilities (PWDs). The MOU was signed by Mr. Peter Lam, Principal & CEO of TP, and Mr. Toru Shiomitsu, Senior Executive Officer of Sumitomo Life, witnessed by Guest-of-Honour, Ms. Sun Xueling, Minister of State in the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Social & Family Development. This strategic partnership aimed to provide digital career training and opportunities for aspiring students who are PWDs, and interested in digital roles upon graduation.

Description: Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman, Second Minister for the Ministry of Education, officiated at the opening session of Temasek Polytechnic's Graduation Ceremony on Monday, 3 May 2021 at the Temasek Convention Centre. A total of 6,203 students graduated from 47 full-time diploma courses and 42 part-time courses. The graduation ceremonies spanned over 35 sessions from 3 to 11 May 2021. The sessions were also livestreamed so that family and friends could be part of the celebration. Dr Maliki presented the polytechnic-level awards to the top graduates and also addressed the graduates from the full-time Diplomas in Big Data Management & Governance, Cyber & Digital Security and Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics at the opening session. Mr Lee Kok Choy, Chairman, TP’s Board of Governors, presented the Skills Mastery Award which recognised students who have demonstrated strong mastery of course-specific skills through their achievements in competitions. A total of 13 Skills Mastery Awards were given out this year.
