Description: The Beyond O Level seminar was held at the Temasek Polytechnic Auditorium 1 on 15 February 2003. It was organised by Temasek Polytechnic and supported by The New Paper. O Level holders and their parents attended the seminar to hear different views of life on campus and to find out what the various educational institutions had to offer. The panel of speakers for the seminar were: Dr Ricky Tam, Director of Technical Studies at the Institute of Technical Education East (MacPherson); Ms Sharon Soh, Registrar and Director of Student Services at Temasek Polytechnic; Mrs Lim Lai Cheng, Principal of Temasek Junior College and Mr Neeraj Sundarajoo, a student at Temasek Polytechnic as well as the managing director of an information technology company. LearningExpo 2003

Press release. 20 Feb 2018. TP students create virtual classroom app for preschoolers

Description: TP students created a Virtual Classroom App for Preschoolers which provided a full curriculum of services such as interactive lessons through games where children can see 3D objects in front of them. Real-time multiplayer games encourage teamwork and promote social skill development, and a point reward system can be exchanged for pets for a quicker assimilation of the subject being taught. The app was one of the 25 final-year projects developed by the graduating students of TP's Business Information Technology (BIT) course. The public can viewed these projects on 21 February 2018 at Meeting Young Minds @ BIT Project Show held at Temasek Polytechnic Main Foyer and Auditorium.

Description: The inaugural Joint Poly-ITE Tourism Career Fair 2018 was launched on 31 October 2018 by Temasek Polytechnic (TP), which leads the Tourism Sector-Co-ordination team (SCT). The event, Tourism Transformation, raised tourism job profiles and encouraged students to pursue tourism sector careers, as well as served as a platform for tourism partners to showcase career progression pathways and engage potential talents. The Skills Framework for Tourism was also unveiled to support the manpower strategies, highlighting pivotal jobs and critical skills needed in the Tourism sector. It provides information on the sector, career pathways, identifies 109 existing and emerging skills and competencies across 69 occupations/job roles, as well as training programmes which support the development of these skills.

Campus Care Network Day cum National Day celebration 2001

Description: The Campus Care Network (CCN) Day is held annually at Temasek Polytechnic, a tradition where staff and students put up a campus-wide bazaar and sale to raise funds for students in need of financial assistance and also to cultivate community spirit and bonding amongst staff and students. The CCN Day was held on 8 August 2001 in conjunction with National Day celebration. The theme was Caring Youths Celebrating. Stalls were set up at the plaza and along the Schools' concourse areas selling assortment of items such as food like satay, bbq chicken wing, chicken pita, bone steak; costume jewellery and souvenirs. There were also cultural dance and dikir barat performance by TP students for TP's community and guests.

Description: Temasek Polytechnic (TP) Open House 2016 was held between January 7 to 9. The annual event was held to enable secondary school students to make an informed choice regarding their educational path after they have completed their studies. The secondary school students were given the opportunity to meet up with the lecturers from the respective schools, have a chat with them on the diploma courses offered, tour the scenic campus and meet up with Temasek Polytechnic students to find out more about the outstanding facilities, the different options open to them and life on campus. For 2016, TP's Auditorium Foyer served as the one-stop destination for visitors to find out more about its 51 diploma courses, and also marked the start point for all walking and bus tours. The tagline for the 2016 Open House was "Best Day Ever".
