Description: One of the activities for Open House 1995 was a mural painting in the gymnasium by Temasek Polytechnic staff and students. They expressed their colourful experience of campus life through a huge nine-panel mural covering the entire wall in the gymnasium.

Temasek Polytechnic Open House 1993

Description: The Temasek Polytechnic Open House was held from 12 to 14 February 1993 and covered both the Grange Road and Stirling Road Campuses. The Open House was extended to a Sunday for the first time to allow members of the public to visit during the weekend. Visitors were bought on a tour of the Polytechnic's facilities.

Description: Details of the Tampines Campus masterplan was unveiled by Mr James Stirling at the "Public Announcement of the Campus Masterplan" held at Hyatt Regency on 27 November 1991. He was one of the partners of the renowned British architectural firm, James Stirling and Michael Wilford & Associates. Senior Minister of State for Education, Dr Tay Eng Soon, was the guest of honour.

Description: Temasek Polytechnic (TP) Open House 2010 was held on 7 to 9 January 2010. The annual open house was held to enable secondary school students to make an informed choice regarding their educational path after they have completed their studies. The secondary school students were given the opportunity to meet up with the lecturers from the respective schools, have a chat with them on the diploma courses offered, tour the campus and meet up with TP students to find out more about the outstanding facilities, the different options open to them and life in the campus. Some of the activities provided during the 3-day open house included a fashion show, performances by TP students (Malay Dance Group, Salvo Drums Troupe, The Blazers cheerleading team, concert with live band, percussion music) culminating in the Jam & Hop celebration with Zouk DJ Andrew Chow playing live non-stop hit music.

Beyond O Level Seminar 2010

Description: The annual Beyond O Level Seminar (BOL) was held on 9 January 2010 at the Temasek Convention Centre. It was a must-visit event that catered exclusively to the needs of parents and students awaiting the O level results. Organised by Temasek Polytechnic (TP) and held in conjunction with TP's Open House, the aim of the informative seminar was to address the many questions parents and students had regarding a polytechnic education in Singapore. There were sharing sessions by Ms Sharon Soh, TP Registrar, Mr Sahfahri Supar, TP alumnus and current TP students as well as a Q&A session comprising of senior academic and adminstrative staff to answer any questions from the audience concerning the courses available, admission requirements and student life. A lucky draw and guided tours to schools of their choice were also available to students and their parents.

The annual event was held to enable secondary school students to make an informed choice regarding their educational path after they have completed their studies. The secondary school students were given the opportunity to meet up with the lecturers from the respective schools, have a chat with them on the diploma courses offered, tour the campus and meet up with TP students to find out more about the outstanding facilities, the different options open to them and life in the campus. Some of the activities provided during the 3-day open house included Project Runway by budding fashion designers from the Diploma in Apparel Design and Merchandising and entertainment by celebrities such as Adrian Pang, Fiona Xie and MTV's Utt.

Freshmen Orientation Camp 2013

Description: The annual Freshmen Orientation Camp (FOC) is a 3-day, 2-night residential orientation programme, including staying over on campus. It was organised by the Temasek Polytechnic Students' Union (TPSU) for full-time students. The freshmen participated in a series of programmes to orientate themselves to the new school environment, including many opportunities to make new friends and bond with their peers through fun and exciting games.

Description: Name card holder with a scenic water colour sketch of Temasek Polytechnic's Triangular Garden on its metallic cover flap. The sketch was done by a Temasek Polytechnic staff. The card holder was put up for sale and sold to raise fund for CCN 2016. It was on loan to TP Archives and displayed in the Library foyer on Level 2 from 19 May to 16 June 2017 during CCN Exhibition, the first curated exhibition to commemorate the 1st anniversary of the TP Archives.

Description: A pearl beaded bracelet and earring set made by Noriah Binte Majid during a Jump-Start Bead Jewellery Workshop, conducted by Ms Sudha Kannurao (ENG) in conjunction with TP25 celebrations and CCN 2015. The set was on loan to the TP Archives for display in the Library foyer on Level 2 from 19 May 2017 to 16 June 2017 during CCN exhibition, the 1st curated exhibition to commemorate the 1st anniversary of the TP Archives.

Description: Temasek Polytechnic (TP), which housed the only accredited Glycemic Index (GI) Research Unit in the region, has launched two new part-time courses on nutrition targeted at individuals who are keen to equip themselves with knowledge of basic nutrition and diabetes. Both courses are supported and subsidised by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). The two new courses on nutrition are "The nutrition therapy for the prevention and management of diabetes" and "The nutrition for optimum health". Both courses, run quarterly, are conducted by a team of experts from TP, led by Dr Kalpana Bhaskaran, who is Domain Lead of Applied Nutrition & Glycemic Index Research at TP's School of Applied Science. TP also collaborated with food manufacturing company, Faesol Pte. Ltd. to create a low GI multigrain drink - iLite GrainsPlus which is available in all NTUC FairPrice outlets.
