Secondary schools were invited to send their top Secondary 4 Normal (Academic) students to attend the seminar. Ms Katherine Rajah, Temasek Polytechnic's Assistant Director, School of Engineering Academic Development spoke on TP's PFP one-year programme which offered a practice-oriented curriculum that was specially designed to lay a strong foundation in Language and Mathematics and gave polytechnic-bound Normal (Academic) students a foretaste of their chosen diploma courses. The seminar's Q&A session provided a platform for the audience to surface questions regarding PFP to a panel comprising of representatives from MOE and the five polytechnics. PFP student ambassadors were also on hand to provide information on the programme and the different courses that TP offered.
