Description
Temasek Polytechnic organised the first Career Carnival at the Youth Park on Sommerset Road on 13 and 14 February 1999. Visitors were not only able to obtain information on the 27 full-time courses, they were also shown glimpses of the vibrant campus life. Youths and parents were also invited to participate in the TP Live chat sessions where they could log on and chat with experts on education opportunities after the 'O' Level Examinations and the "The Spirit of Adventure and Aspirations of Youths". The Guest-of-Honour was Members of Parliament, Mr S Iswaran.
