Temasek Polytechnic (TP) through the Centre for Ageing Studies and School for Humanities & Social Sciences held its inaugural Seniors' Week on 19 & 20 October 2016 and the inaugural EngAGE Symposium 2016 on 21 October 2016. Under the theme, "Transforming ageing: enrich, engage, empower", the different schools and departments in TP collaborated and organised 19 activities and workshops. Some interesting highlights were Mindfulness practices for a better you and Fitness & exercise for older adults. The launch of TP's Seniors' Week 2016 was marked by Conductorcise, an exhilarating new "fitness fusion" sound workout for mind, body and soul. Prof Alfred Chan, Chairperson of the Equal Opportunities Commission Hong Kong, was the keynote speaker at the inaugural symposium.
