A group of engineering students from Temasek Polytechnic's Diploma in Media & Communication Technology developed four assistive devices and applications to encourage greater independence for the visually handicapped. The four projects were showcased at the conference room of the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH) on Wednesday, 4 January, 2012. These projects were among 78 projects on display during TP's Engineering Project Show and also held in conjunction with TP's campus-wide Open House which was held from 5 - 7 January 2012.
