Temasek Polytechnic's Design School Studies Club participated in City Colours : paint the town red and white. The project was organised by the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (MICA) as part of the National Day celebration, Majulah! The Singapore Spirit. The project aimed to engage students from local tertiary institutions by providing them the experience of dressing up a plot of land to express their creativity, love and pride in Singapore's birthday. The installations were put up by students from 15 to 16 July 2011, and on display till 31 August 2011 at Raffles Place Park and Hill Street. This was the second year that TP participated in the event.
