On 3 July 2013, students from Yishun Town Secondary School visited the Temasek Polytechnic. Staff from the Centre for Foundation Studies shared on the different admission routes to polytechnic studies including the one-year Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) at TP. The foundation programmme's practice-oriented curriculum will prepare Normal (Academic) students for entry into relevant polytechnic diploma courses. The 1st batch of student intake for the PFP @ TP commenced in April 2013 for students who performed very well in the Singapore-Cambridge GCE N-level Examinations.
